Stresssed this summer?

Economic woes got you in a bummer? Boys driving you crazy? Thoughts of Fall semester giving you the runs?

Well look no further, my friends, and s-t-o-p with the poo-poo thinking! The only bumming you should be doing, is being a BEACH BUM!

It's summer time, and what better time to wake up early and enjoy your surroundings. No, not inside, but outside.

Take advantage of parks, museums, free concerts and events. Check your local listings for upcoming FREE events.

New York City is keen for having events for all the visitors and locals.

For example, if you're into music, Central Park Summer Stage has some good looks in the forecast.

Let's take a look for the month of JULY:
  • Q-tip and newly announced Chester French (18th)
  • Ginuwine, Chico De Barge, Joe (25th)
Springfield Park in Queens
  • Chrisette Michele & Case (30th)

Can't forget sweet August:

Springfield Park in Queens
  • Heather Headley and Deborah Cox (6th)
Central Park Summer Stage
  • Jazmine Sullivan, Chrisette Michele, Jon B, Kenny Latimore (9th)

Hope you get those cute toes colored and get some MELANIN in your life!

Remembering Michael Jackson

Gone but never forgotten

The Shaq Trade= Dessert or Disaster?

Has the magic behind two championship rings for the Los Angeles Lakers, alongside Kobe Bryant,  traded his jersey?

It was confirmed today of the deal, after months of a highly anticipated and talked about topic of Shaquille O' Neal trading from the Phoenix Suns to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Anyone who kept up with the situation might find it quite entertaining to see him alongside the other NBA great, Lebron James. Looks like revenge never tasted sweeter for Mr. Shaq, although he initially congratulated Kobe Bryant via twitter of his response to the Laker's 2009 NBA Championship.

From people's responses to my question, I'm getting he's too old, some can't wait, some aren't sure.

We'll just have to wait and see if the decision was a dessert or disaster!
